Co-create with us to build our Smart Nation
GovTech is committed to exploring new ways to deliver digital services for citizens, businesses and government agencies. To do this, we're always open to collaborating with industry stakeholders and researchers who share a common goal of realising Singapore's Smart Nation ambitions.
Whether it is through technology partnerships or hosting events, we invite industry partners to #TechWithUs by:
Deepening engagements - Develop mutual understanding of industry solutions and Government-specific domains, while leveraging reusable Government platforms such as the SG Tech Stack
Refining processes - Experiment, iterate, and welcome feedback on initiatives such as IM8 and procurement processes
Sharing best practices - Share best practices on project management and problem solving through collaborations such as hackathons (e.g. LAUNCH! hackathon), workshops, and meet-ups (e.g. STACK community events)
The dynamic nature of today’s technological and social landscape requires the government to be more agile. Engaging our industry partners allows us to tap the complementary strengths of the public and private sectors, and I hope this close partnership will ensure a smooth journey together on the next bound of Smart Nation.

ICT&SS Policy Reform
To support Singapore’s ambition to build a Smart Nation, the Government has accelerated its digital transformation efforts. This includes improving how services are delivered, operations are managed, and policies are defined to protect agencies' infocomm technology and smart system (ICT&SS) assets.
The ICT&SS Policy Reform is an effort to transform the policy controls to be lean, relevant, and effective. It enables differentiated treatment for systems of different risk materiality levels. Government agencies are to assess the risks and identify the right level of controls for their systems based on various business and technical considerations.
