Getting married is one of the most joyful events in a person’s life. Among the long list of wedding preparation matters is marriage registration. Our Marriage Journey aims to make this process a seamless and efficient one.

Created by GovTech in partnership with the Registry of Marriages and the Registry of Muslim Marriages, the portal benefits an estimated 28,000 couples every year by helping them digitalise their marriage journeys.

Why use Our Marriage Journey?

All your marriage documentation can be completed online, anywhere, anytime. Here are some e-services available via the portal.

For your big day

File your marriage application, book your solemnisation date, and conduct your solemnisation via video if an in-person ceremony is not feasible.

Take care of administrative matters

Use the platform to search for marital records, duplicates of certificates, and verify digital documents.

For changes in marital status

Update your marital status in the event of divorce or spousal death. You can also apply for the registration of your overseas civil marriage.
