The Singapore Student Learning Space (SLS) is a core platform for teaching and learning created by the Ministry of Education (MOE), in collaboration with GovTech. As one of MOE's key initiatives, SLS aims to transform the learning experiences of Singaporean students through the purposeful use of technology. This platform is accessible to all school leaders, teachers, and students in the national school system, ensuring equal access to quality education resources.
Why use Student Learning Space?
Enhanced learning experience
The platform allows students to engage in personalised, curriculum-aligned learning across different learning modes such as self-directed or collaborative learning. Students’ learning is supplemented with a wide range of external integrated resources.
Empowered teaching
The platform offers comprehensive features for teachers to customise content, create collaborative lessons, and apply new pedagogies. Teachers can evaluate students’ thinking processes and apply targeted interventions to cater to different students’ learning paces and needs.
Adaptive and future-ready education system
The platform is continuously evolving to adapt to user feedback, while keeping up with educational policy and curriculum changes. With its nationwide rollout and adoption, SLS ensures equal access to quality educational resources across the national school system.
How to use Student Learning Space?
Local students from Singapore schools and educational institutions funded by the Singapore Government have access to the SLS. The SLS is accessible through internet browsers on a Windows PC, Mac, iPad, or Android tablet.
