How to use your SG Culture Pass credits in Singapore

Singapore’s cultural scene just got a major upgrade! From September 2025, every Singaporean aged 18 and above will receive $100 in SG Culture Pass credits—your gateway to hundreds of arts and heritage experiences across Singapore. 

With about 70 per cent of offerings priced at $50 and below, your credits can go a long way. From live performances to hands-on workshops and thought-provoking talks, SG Culture Pass opens the door to a rich mix of affordable and inspiring experiences that showcase the creativity and heritage of Singapore.

As Mr David Neo, Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Senior Minister of State for Education, noted: “The arts and heritage define who we are as Singaporeans. The Government is fully committed to develop the local arts and heritage sector, not just through direct resourcing, but also in stepping up audience development efforts, to benefit the whole sector.”

Who is the SG Culture Pass for?

Every Singapore Citizen aged 18 and above will get $100 in SG Culture Pass credits. With over 300 programmes and a wide array of participating venues and vendors, SG Culture Pass offers something for everyone. How to use SG Culture Pass?

1. Visit the website: Visit the SG Culture Pass website. 

2. Log in: Log in securely using your Singpass on the website.

3. Setup your profile: Update the field(s) to complete your profile.

4. Explore programmes: Browse the wide range of arts and heritage programmes available on the website. Use the search filters to find events based on your interests, dates, or price.

5. Choose your event: Select a programme and click "Get Tickets" to proceed.

6. Make your payment: You will be redirected to an authorised ticketing partner's* website. Pick your preferred date and time and add to cart. During payment, select "SG Culture Pass" as your payment option and proceed to use your credits. If your credits don't cover the full amount, you can easily top up with a credit card or PayNow.

7. Enjoy the show: Once your payment is complete, you'll receive a confirmation email from the ticketing partner. All that's left is to go and enjoy the event!

GovTech’s role in making SG Culture Pass possible

The SG Culture Pass is a collaborative effort, with GovTech partnering closely with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) and the National Arts Council (NAC) to support this initiative via GovTech’s digital platforms such as Singpass, GoWhere, and GovWallet.

GoWhere: Powering the SG Culture Pass website

The SG Culture Pass website has been built by GoWhere, part of the broader GoWhere suite developed by GovTech. This initiative is enabled by DIYGoWhere, a self-service campaign builder that allows government agencies to design, manage, and launch their GoWhere sites quickly. As a result, citizens benefit by gaining quick, accurate, and trusted government information in one convenient place.

DIYGoWhere powers the central discovery hub of event listings in SG Culture Pass. The intuitive interface makes it simple for citizens to browse, filter, and book from hundreds of cultural programmes— whether you’re searching by price, location, or event type.

Beyond convenience for citizens, the platform also brings value to event partners. Arts and heritage partners gain greater visibility through centralised listings, while authourised ticketing vendors benefit from a streamlined listing and booking process that integrates directly with SG Culture Pass credits. This multi-sided value creation is what makes GoWhere a powerful enabler of audience accessibility and reach for Singapore’s arts and heritage scene.

GovWallet: Seamlessly managing SG Culture Pass credits and payments

The disbursement and management of SG Culture Pass credits is handled securely by GovWallet, a digital wallet that is integrated with Singpass. For citizens, GovWallet provides peace of mind and transparency. Credits are automatically disbursed into your wallet, with no extra sign-ups or forms required. Every transaction is clearly logged so you can see how your credits are being used.

As part of SG Culture Pass, GovWallet will also support the payments via Credit Card and PayNow, thus providing agencies a consolidated platform that supports their disbursements and payments needs.
