What we do

This capability centre prioritises the needs of citizens to develop products and services that improve their lives.

Anchored by the Government Digital Services (GDS) division at GovTech, this centre enables the government to continuously improve, integrate and deploy digital services to citizens while ensuring that these services are scalable, resilient and reusable.

We also create a strong design and software engineering foundation within the public service. Our expertise includes Agile methods, user experience design, quality engineering, DevOps, reusable digital services and more.

Helping Singapore curb the spread of COVID-19 with the development of apps like TraceTogether, a tool that was used by over 90% of Singapore residents as of 2021.

VICA (Virtual Intelligent Chat Assistant)

VICA (Virtual Intelligent Chat Assistant) — a technology that powers chatbots across government agencies. The chatbot itself is also customisable, presenting itself as different personas for each agency such as "Ask Gayle" on GovTech's website, "Ask Wally" on PUB's website and more.
